Deposits, Card on File & Cancellation Policy

 

At Divine Driving & Concierge, we value your time—and ask for the same in return. These policies ensure we can deliver the signature-level service you expect while maintaining fairness for all clients and drivers.

 

 

Deposits

 

A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation via Zelle, Venmo, card or ACH. All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future booking with at least 24 hours’ notice Please see Cancellations & Changes. Deposits typically range from $50 to 50% of the quoted fare, and in special cases, full-fare pre payment is required.​

Card on File

 

When a deposit or pre-payment is required, a valid card must also be kept on file for added protection and convenience. If no payment method is saved on file, your balance owed must be paid before future reservations can be made or an the existing reservation is completed. Your card will be charged in the event of but not limited to: 

 

  • You request us to keep it on file, so you won't need to provide it every time

  • Anything outlined in the change, delay & cancellations or no-show policy

  • Excessive wait time or major route changes beyond prepaid service & other payment options are not available

  • Cleaning or damage beyond normal wear

  • Failure to provide another form of payment at the time of service (e.g. forgotten wallet or declined app)

  • See other Policies for more circumstances

 

A card on file is also required for rides that include but not limited to:

  • Alcoholic beverages or drinks beyond water

  • ​Pets

  • Other high-risk payment, cleaning or damage factors

We gladly accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and other app-based payments at the time of service for payments beyond the initial deposit to secure your reservation. The card on file is simply a backup to ensure a smooth and secure transaction and for our protection against non-payment according to terms, conditions and policies.

Changes, Delays &

​Cancellations


We understand that plans change. To be respectful of everyone’s time, schedule and commitments, we maintain the following terms in addition to the Deposit Policy:

 

  • Changes made more than 24 hours in advance: No additional fee (subject to availability).

  • Changes made within 24 hours of scheduled pickup time: A $50 change reservation charge applies for scheduling impacts & are subject to availability. Another deposit will not be required for the rescheduled booking.

  • Cancelling with more than 24 hours' notice: No additional fee

  • 2 to 24 hours’ notice: May be charged up to 50% of the quoted fare, deposit is applied to it
  • Within 2 hours of scheduled pickup or no-show: Charged the full quoted fare, deposit is applied to it

 

Missed Reservation & Delay Policy

 

Your reservation time is reserved exclusively for you, with a 30-minute buffer between bookings whenever possible. However, during peak times or back-to-back scheduling, a significant delay may impact the next client’s confirmed reservation.

To ensure fairness and reliability:

Each ride includes a 15-minute courtesy wait at no extra cost.

If you are delayed beyond that time:

 

  • If your driver’s schedule allows: Standby service may be available at the posted rate of $60/hr for standard rides or $100/hr for Chauffeur(see Extra Fees section).

 

  • If your delay would interfere with another client and no additional driver / vehicle is available: Your reservation will be canceled immediately to protect the next client’s schedule.

 

  • If you prepaid in full: the amount is non-refundable.

  • If only a deposit was paid: the full quoted fare will be charged to the account on file. Payment must be completed before future bookings are accepted.

This policy ensures every client receives the punctual, signature-level experience they expect.

 

 

Cleaning & Damage Policy


We take great pride in maintaining a clean, high-end vehicle for every ride. To protect the quality of service for all guests, the following fees may apply in the event of spills, damage, or excessive mess:

  • Light Cleaning (minor water spill, crumbs, dirt, etc.): no additional charges

  • Moderate Cleaning (spills, makeup, sand, pet hair): $20

  • Severe Cleaning or Bodily Fluids (vomit, urine, blood, etc.): $200 minimum or actual detailer cost

  • Damages (broken items, upholstery tears, etc.): actual repair or replacement cost

No Smoking Policy


To ensure a clean, comfortable, and health-conscious environment for all clients, Divine Driving & Concierge maintains a strict no-smoking policy:

Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and marijuana) is not permitted inside or within 25 feet of the vehicle at any time.

All of our drivers are non-smokers, and we strive to keep our vehicles free from lingering odors or allergens.

Clients who violate this policy may be subject to a $100 cleaning fee and possible refusal of future service.

 

Alcohol Policy


(For-Hire Vehicle – Idaho Law)

 

At Divine Driving & Concierge, we understand that some rides call for celebration — and as a licensed for-hire service in Idaho, we are legally permitted to allow alcohol onboard for our passengers.

We gladly accommodate clients who wish to bring their own beverages, with the following policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and fully compliant experience:

Clients who wish to, must provide their own alcoholic beverages — Divine Driving & Concierge does not supply or serve alcohol.

Per Idaho law, open containers are allowed in for-hire vehicles but must remain behind the driver’s seat at all times.

Passengers may consume alcohol during the ride, provided they are 21 years of age or older.

No alcohol is allowed in the front passenger seat or near the driver’s area, and drivers may never be in possession of open containers.

Glassware, coolers, or other setups must be stable and secure during transit.

Excessive intoxication or unsafe behavior may result in early termination of the ride and additional fees, if applicable.
